Meguiars DA Polishing Machine - best products for black sapphire correction

Well hopefully Santa will be bringing me this

http://www.meguiars.co.uk/cgi-bin/sp...l?pc=G220&tp=0

Essentially it's same sort of set up as Porter 7424 or UDM. Importantly for uk market I wont have to buy a transformer. I was going to hold out for UDM until I saw this. It's £149 which is roughly $300 but then again I do live in "rip off britain."

My car is an '02 in Black Sapphire and so far any detailing has been done by hand (megs clay, scratchx & NXT). I have a pretty good basic understanding of detailing and have been reading up on autopia, detailing world, meguiars and various other forums.

With the PC coming I am obviously stepping things up a gear. I am keen not to waste time or money buying the wrong products & was leaning towards the route of megs #83 then #80 and finally #21 but still researching. Menzema seems a popular choice. Open to suggestions on products and pads that will suit my 2002 in black sapphire.

Correction will be to remove medium swirls and a few bird poo marks to roof.

I am more than aware that most of my efforts thus far have been filling/concealing swirl marks and the PC will be removing a little clearcoat.

Any thoughts appreciated.
