I need a detailing pros advice on two points
1. How often should one clean CCS pads? After every use or more?
2. After using Menzerna Power Gloss which Menzerna products would you follow up with to complete an average detail? I plan to use the Orange CCS pad with the Power Gloss. I also have White, Black and Blue pads ready for whatever you recommend.

1. I clean mine after every use, not sure if it extends the life of the pad I have only used the about 3 times.
2.PO85rd or FPII

1) I assume you are asking if you can go on polishing with 1 pad, well I think not. Usually after roof, hood, fenders, and 2 front doors the pad I use (LC flat pad not CCS) pretty gumed up with polish. So I use fresh pad for the rest of the car. I use "clean snappy" but lately I use dawn/laundry detergent in the bucket and soak the pads after I am done. Rinse with warm/hot water and wring-out all the ecess water, they seems to be in good conditions for next time. 2) I don't have PO85RD so I use PO106FF and seems to be good also. The reason I got PO106FF is it's available in 16oz while PO85RD only in 32oz. If you can get 3M ultrafina for cheap (I heard some local paint store sells this around $30 for 32oz but my local auto paint wants $51 for 3M ultrafina so no go). |

Phil, After using SIP would you be able to finish with FPII or is it a must to have PO106FA??
