STUBBORN

I am running out of ideas on how to remove some really hard water stain on my passenger side window. Chlorine stains are really stubborn. Heres just some of the stuff I tried to remove it that didn't work: glass cleaner, acetone, alcohol, polish, nail polish remover, zap degreaser. I tried scrapping it off with a single sided blade and it seems to be working little by little. I mean I haven't seen anything like this and about to give up. Any input which I can try out? Thanks.

did you try a combo of some sort of cleaner and the blade? i know my tint guy sprays abundant stuff on the window and then cleans with a razor blade prior to tinting

good luck!

This has PROVEN to work. --> Spot-X. Can find at local Home Depot.
Hard water stains, acid rain, auto glass repair, spot-x, rust stains, cleaning product, water spots

I had same issue with my previous X5, tried everything and nothing worked. Finally tried Spot-X and voila!

Ask Phil at detailer's domain. That guy knows his stuff.

Hey LeMans X5... btw, is SpotX safe to use on tinted windows or windows with BMW's OE tint? The website says not to use the stuff on anti-fog coated mirrors, which I assume is all 3 BMW mirrors (exterior and interior), so just wondering about the rest.
