Cleaning Help

Help please - 2004 4.4 black interior. I drive my 4 year old daughter around alot - she sits in a car seat in the middle of the rear seat. As you would imagine, her feet dirty up the rear of the front seats pretty good and getting in and out of the car gets the inner rear doors dirty also. I've tried cleaning it with almost everything up to and including Simple Green. I can get the seats, leather surfaces and carpets clean, but the textured plastic on the seat backs and inner doors will not come completely clean. The surface dirt comes off, but there remains a stain or shadow that I can't get off. Any ideas? Thanks. John

I inadvertantly used the Leatherique on the plastic in my Exploder and it surprised me as to how it changed the condition and look. It turns out the Company does advocate use on plastic as well as leather.

Just an idea.

I would diulute your SG and just use a STIFF BRUSH. however, I would continue try using the least harshest chemical and a stiff brush IMO

Weasel will become famous soon enough
I had the same problem with mine when I bought it, just used the leather cleaner I bought with a stiff brush. worked great then I put on the leather conditioner as well for a great finish, looks as it was new. (leather cleaner and conditioner also says safe for plastics/vinyls on bottle)

the leather master kit would be great but on the plastic you can use Einszett Plastic/Vinyl Cleaner on it.

then use Einszett Vinyl/Rubber Care on it.
