Headlight Restoration

My local dealer is offering a special for headlight restoration - $129.95. The add says, "This service restores your BMW headlight protectors and allows maximum performance for your xenon or halogen headlamps!"

What do you think they are doing for 130 bucks? Do you think they take them out and clean the inside or just apply product to the outer lens? I wonder if they also remove condensation and lizards.
As of now my headlights are clear and bright so I am just curious as to what this service could include. Nice to know they offer it though.

my dealer offers to do the 3M kit. i bet this is the same or very similar

If your haze is on the outside, you can buy an kit for $19 from your local auto parts store. It is a very easy DIY. Not sure what the dealer is going to do. Ask them what it consists of.
