Carpet Detailing - Extractor

For carpet detailing I have simply used upholstery cleaner, a mild brushing and my shop vac. Would any of you recommend kitting up to an Extractor? I've been contemplating the purchase for awhile and see some incentive. Any one cough up the bucks for one? Comments?

This one to be exact 1003HV SPEEDSTER® Deluxe

I love it, the fact is that it works amazingly on the carpets in the car. but you can also use it to do the carpets in your house. I do my car once a year, and my home carpets 1-2x a year. You save money after your first use instead of hiring stanley steamer or something similar..
