I usually use DuPont Multi-purpose lubricant with Teflon on seals and stuff like that, its got a mild cleaner but not as much as WD40, the teflon is good for most anything. I've used it on my motorcycle chains when I had sportbikes (don't miss those days, belt FTW nowadays haha!), I also spray the door lock actuators in the doors before winter to keep everything free moving, and I even use it on the lubrication points on my elliptical in the basement.
I get aerosol cans at lowes, hope that helps!
