ekaz - how did u pull the plastic ring? Did you have to pry it off or use a flat head screwdriver or something?

No offense intended, SG! Just saying that Tdrag did a great job with the order setup, Paypal, etc... The probs came when the ball shifted to the supplier's court. No issues with him on my end, but as for buying from this shop...
The shop choice could've been better, & their stock should've been confirmed to cover 20+ orders in advance.

(2) Yeah, so what's the diff between H11 and H3?

(3) And yeah, can we use XenonMatch PLUS or must we use XenonMatch?

1).. There is a DIY..and we have lots of memeber that will help us out on that..

2) its the fitment, size and plug of the bulbs.. beside that.. its the same.

3) Plus is at a higher watt output.. you can if you want but its a warning. it will be too hot for such a tight space(fog housing). headlights are fine.. for the PLUS

(2) the fitment, size and plug - well um doesn't that mean only one or the other can fit?

Guys, the fog lights are a very simple install. On a pre-facelift X5, look at the ring around the fog and you will see a notch in it. Take your finger and gently pull on that notch and it will start to come apart from the bumber. Once removed, there are two screws that need to be loosen. THen you will have to reach in with a finger on each side of the fog light housing and pull it towards you. There are two clips on the top that will give way and the fog light can then be pulled out of the hole. I think there is a protective cover on the back - pull it off and then you will see the bulb. Disconnect the clip holding the bulb, pull it out and replace it with the new one.

I did this without reading any directions - just went out there and took care of business!!

I will install for anyone in the Atlanta area for $100

Any one with a FACELIFTED X5 care to post a DIY, with pictures preferably. I know everyone says its so easy, but I think they're referring to PRE-facelifted X's cause all i've heard is its a P.I.T.A. on the 2004+ models.
