From your HID conversion thread, I'd guess you either work for him or get some kind of reimbursement for selling this stuff here.

Actually no, I have no affiliation with Khoalty other than being a loyal customer. I've bought many of the mods on my E46 from him.

It also seems like there aren't many aftermarket products available for X5's and since several members on here expressed an interest in these, I thought I'd contact Khoa to see if these could be procured.

I actually enjoy helping people out instead of being a negative voice on the forums and would like to see a few more mods available for fellow X5 enthusiasts.

That's pretty presumptuous that I'm being negative by simply asking a question. I agree, compared to the 3 series world, we don't make a scratch in comparison. I'm sure we appreciate your help, but the only things I see specifically (other than generic HID's) cross compatible between the 3 and X5 is for 3.0 owners are performance mods, which even some of those don't work based on different ECU's and framing for such mods as intakes, turbo's, etc. Your offering of HID kits (overpriced compared to other mentioned suppliers) and shadowlined badges is great and all, so hopefully you'll find something of more value down the road that would fall under aftermarket products that Khoalty can offer. Good luck.

I'd go for the 35d on an X6.

You guys do realize that you're replying on a thread that basically died in 3/09 when Krunk sold his X5, and Hiro never went forward and took over the reigns. For those who want shadowed emblems, I've already suggested a suitable paint that will get the same results for about $5 and a few hours worth of your own time.

The shadow emblems do look good on certain colors. Other than my M5 (a little rarer than some cars, and they hadn't been made for 8yrs when I bought it), I've always just deleted them so I've got less to wax around.

Yeh, I've just been waxing mine now and it took ages to get the wax off from around them, might have to remove them.
