no, the UHP use fewer LED, inferior LED and circuit boards, and do not have the same type of controllers. Their LED do go bad, ours do not.

yes, some of our headlights have the auto-level feature.
some headlights also have D2S and some have standard H7.
also some headlights can be fitted with the FXR retrofit

we sell headlights that are DEPO and SONAR.
we have orion rings for both types full circle and not full circle
we have 4 dedicated builders of headlights and have many different techniques to install.
many customers are very happy with the results of these headlights.

Do you have Xenon with self levelling? Where did you buy them from?

FMUGUR, my Depo units ARE self leveling xenon units which swap out plug and play with the factory xenon units. I have a 2001 so I had no issues with bulb out errors until I tried a dual LED turn signal bulb which DID work but caused the bulb out error. I went with the stealth silver bulbs ultimately.
I got them from ebay seller Fishcake321 (idk if he still has/uses that ebay name, this was over a year ago) but Id purchased something from him years before and he gave excellent customer service. In fact a singular one of the leds was out in the units he sent me and he was willing to take it back and swap it out. I told him if another LED went out Id do that (I was super amped to get them installed and didnt then and still dont care about the one missing LED, it is barely noticeable).

The ebay sellers name was Simon and his email adress was [email protected]. He honored my group buy asking price although prices have probably come down since then. Email him, he's super helpful.


Umnitza, Id love to cheerlead for you but after going against the better advice of some of the members here (including Simoncpw, sorry for not listening to your diatribe buddy, Im a believer now!!) I purchased some Orion V2s angel eye rings from you. I made the mistake of taking longer than the 30 days to open up/inspect my rings and although the box specified "X5" on it, the rings were too small. Umnitza you wouldnt even give me the courtesy of a store credit even though your product clearly did not fit simply because it was past the 30 day mark. Your response to me basically was "OH WELL SOME PEOPLE DONT MIND THAT THE RINGS ARE SMALLER THAN THE ACTUAL HEADLIGHTS". I had to pull teeth to even get you to tell me what "other" BMWs they fit so i could at least offer them for sale to someone else. If I remember correctly you informed me that they fit the e46 3 series coupe perfectly. You said everything short of THESE WERE NOT MADE SPECIFICALLY FOR YOUR X5, lol.

If for some reason you decide to have a change of heart I still have them gathering dust under my bed...

not sure about your description but we always give store credit on items after 30 days up to 1 year from date of purchase.
X5 based Orion V2 rings fit E60 PRE-LCI Halogen headlights, Maxima 2002-3, and Halogen E46 Sedan 1999-2005, and halogen E46 Coupe 2000-2003. However for E46, the owner will need to get separate clips.

Thanks Lodiggs. I found it. So you had no problems sine you got them installed? Do you find a difference between the oe and these depos?

It looks like they come with the high power LEDs. Is this what you have?
Umnitza mentioned that the UHP LEDs AE uses less LEDs and they fail.
