BMW M3 E46 2003 foling mirrors replacements

Hi everyone,
I need some help with folding mirrors, recently both of my mirrors on the M3 was damaged...... kids !!!

I had to orders a new set from China/ Hong Kong somewhere, BMW asked for £400 each.
Im not sure how to change them round and wether its as simple as stated. I took the two bolts out from inside and the mirror came of the door no probs, only problem....... not sure how to disconnect the cable from the mirror, as it runs into the door panel. would I need to take the door panel out to disconnect the cable ? if so the panels have airbags would I need to disable them first before ripping the panel out ?

Not sure..... please could anyone help ?

Rgds
Sunny
