Trailer Light Plug
hi guy i have a few questions. im putting in a hitch on my 2006 X5 3.0 this weekend and it did not come with a light plug (the peice that gets mounted next to the hitch that you plug into for lights). i need that peice, where can i find it. and my next question is, in the fuse box, fuse number 78 says trailer. so i am pretty sure that i have the wire pre-ran in my truck some where, but where is it? what do i have to do to get to it? if someone can post a picture as to where i can find it i would really appreciate it.
thanks for all the help, gianvito |

Anybody know where I can buy a male plug to put on my trailer? The BMW hitch harness plug is a weird round plug, 15 pins or so by the look of things. Can't find one in a trailer shop anywhere here in Melbourne
![]() Cheers + thanks, Scott. P.S: It's not available on the above site. I'm just after the plug (want to do my own wiring loom to custom trailer as I am a geek)... Last edited by oztme; 08-10-2009 at 05:59 PM. |
