E46: PDC button?

I know this isn't an E46 forum, but I have the feeling that people here know more about these things.

I'm planning on doing a complete retrofit of PDC on my e46. I have most off the parts and a installation instruction to do this like OEM.

However, the manual doesn't say anything about the PDC button some cars have in the front. How is this button wired? I guess it's the same as in X5 E53. If you have OEM PDC from factory and buy this button, does it just works?

I know there is e46s out there with this button. And it could be nice to have the possibility to deactivate it sometimes.

Anyway, I'm sure it's possible to retrofit this button, I hust need to know where the wires need to go. As far as I know there are four wires. One for ground, one for illumination, and two I don't know where to put.

Have you looked for an answer on E46 Fanatics? I can't imagine those guys not knowing.

Yep, I've been there to.

Things like these are more common in X5s than E46, and since the cars are pretty much the same when it comes to stuff like this, I made a post here also.
