Can anyone help I have a convertible and I am looking for something to put onto my roof to protect and seal it I have been using autoglym I there anything different I can use if so what is it and where do I get it thanks for your

Try renovo, clean it then waterproof it.

Note that the restorer is pure black permenant ink in liquid form. Follow the instructions on the bottle about doing 1 panel at a time (you will need a small stepladder), and don't splash it about on your favourite clothes and paintwork. It helps to release the tension in the roof to get the ink right into the fabric, protect the vehicle interior from drips though.

Here in the US, many of us convertible owners use a cleaner and protectant from RagTopp; comes in a kit.
The key is to make sure your vert top is bone fookin dry, before using the cleaner or protectant, and
make sure top is dry before applying a rec'd 2nd coat of protectant.

Also, keep protectant off paint: I use some old bed sheets on the body around the perimeter of the top.
Dunno if it's only a available here in the Colonies or, in the UK also.
