Anyone used Febi control arm parts before?
I may need to get all the control arms replaced on my 2004 X5 and I was looking at ECS for the parts.
The Febi branded upper control arms for my X was significantly cheaper than the GenuineBMW counterpart. The BMW one is about $330 and the Febi one is about $85. Have anyone used any Febi control arm products on their car? How's the general quality of Febi parts? |

I installed them on mine recently as they cost less than my cost on OEM. They are fine so far but I've only had them for a few months.

I am personally using them in my 2002 X5 for over a year now with out issue.
We have developed this kit to specifically to include the 1st stage of common wear items on your E53 X5. This kit will change the way your X5 drives & feels.

Few days ago I ordered the 10 pieces kit below for 290$ + shipping including a 3 years warranty. I received the box yesterday, great service, fast shipping. Just so you know, I'm not trying to cut ECS here, I know they are sponsor but being full time at school, money is tight so search and found this very good deal and best deal I found. The quality of the parts look very good to me. The level II kit that ECS sell is of very good quality but I couldn't justify the almost 500$ difference.

Back when I had my e36 I used febi bushes when I freshened up the suspension put lots of miles on it and was still tight as a new car when I sold it. The trailing arm bushes and the front control arm bushes appeared uprated when compared side by side with the oem parts.

This is what I like about ECS, they offer different options of brands, and will give you HONEST opinions about the performance and or issues they may have had from other customers regarding what brands have been performing better than others!
