TPMS - Battery Changes/ Valve Stems and General Maintenance?

So going to need to replace tires soon. Car is 7 years old now. Wondering if there is any maintenance I should be doing to the TPMS Sensors when they change out the tires? Battery change for instance, and if so, where do I source these batteries?

I'm assuming the Valve stems do NOT get replaced during general tire changes, as they are integral to the sensor? I see replacement Stems are available online, but do they should to be routinely changed when tires are changed?

Please share your experience, thanks!
