I think I may have answered my own question from searching, which scares me. Read the first message on page 3 of this thread.
Makes sense since my OEM center caps fit perfectly. That means if the centerbore is machined properly (@72.56mm) I shouldn't need hub centering rims. This is in line with the wheels specs listed in the link in my previous post. This can only mean one of three things, in order of most likely to least. 1) Wheel not balanced properly - balanced by reputable shop, not on a Hunter GSP9700 though. Vehicle downforce runout not done. 2) Wheel bent / out of round - doesn't appear to be visually. 3) Centerbore / lug holes are not centered on rim (would cause uneven rotation). It scares me even more knowing that my rims come from two seperate manufacturers (hmm... why did Wheels and Caps switch manufacturers?) BTW - luckily BRGX5 sold his WAC 177 replicas and didn't have to go through the hassle. I feel sorry for whoever purchased them. Hopefully theirs are fine and just mine a fubarred.

Well #3 has been ruled out.
The centerbore of the wheel is already machined to 72.56mm. These specs are correct on their website as well, I was just concerned it might not be accurate. I deterermined this by removing the BMW center caps and seeing that they are fitting snugly around hub. I also measured using a digital caliper. They are in fact hub centric. Taking them into the local proshop on Friday for a throrough inspection.

The wheel shop confirmed today that two passenger side wheels are bent. This really sucks. Not sure what I am going to do here. This typically can happen either from dropping the rim hard, or from hitting a large pothole. I should have spun these wheels before mounting them on the vehicle.
What a mess.
