im a big fan of spacers...to a certain point. anything above 20mm and you have to start being careful but other than that, i have 12mm on my rear, and i set up a friend with a 4.6is with 15mm and that looked perfect. good luck with yours, long live spacers!

Could you post pictures???? I had in mind 0.75 front and 1.25 rear... but you can easily convince me to go wider

i only did the rear. mostly on my x5 i put on the spacers to accomodate the brembos. i also have spacers on the 330 and the 550 and the 328 but to rear wheels only...your setup sounds correct, ive heard people go wayyyyyyy further than that; for me the further out the more of a safety issue it becomes...

I had 20mm on the back of my x5, but it was not big enough for me. Looked good though. Ive seen 30s and they are too much. I just orderd 25s, and i hope that they are not too much. 5mm out front.

X5 with 4.6 wheels and fender flares

I put 25mm in the back, none in the front as they are pretty even with the fender.

Yes I think some subtle spacers would be nice particularly for the ones with flares in the back. Actually I wouldn't mind front flares as well ! Anyway, you guys know a good only source to order lug bolts? Also, what are the stock lug bolt specs?
