Your manual and the door sticker will show various
suggested air pressure readings, for different size wheel/tire combos, under different loads. 22s are not standard on any X5, but imo, 32 lbs is a good starting point, to 35 psi if you like a little stiffer ride. If you polled here, most would report running 32-35 lbs. I've run more than 35, in the rear, fully loaded to the gunwales, but not rec'd. Uneven tire wear is usually another symptom if your tires are properly inflated... GL,mD

Thank you for the input. Anyone else that has 22's? I would like to see what everyone is running. Thanks again to everyone.

I since 22''s typically have such low sidewall, I run them a little higher than my oem 17's. I typically set pressure to be about 33-34 psi.

Hi, I'm running 22'' kahn's with 295/30/ZR/22/103W, and as a rule of thumb, increase your tyre pressure 2psi for every 1'' increase in diameter,
(32psi for standard 19'' = 38psi for 22'')....... |

So, would you set the 22"s to 33-34 or is that the number for the 17"s?
Thanks. Quote:

2psi for every 1'' increase is only a general guide,I was told this by my tyre fitter,it's a good starting point and you won't go far wrong,
I increased from 19'' to 22'' and run with 37-38psi all round.. |
