Spare wheel size and space
I have seen a picture of a tray almost a couple of inches deep that sits on top of the wheel, under the luggage space floor. My floor virtually rests on top of the wheel and tyre, so some smaller spares must be used. Mine is not as large as the real wheels, but it's not what I'd call a 'space saver' either. What's the standard spare wheel setup in US spec cars? |

4.6is and 4.8is trucks use a mini-spare, I'm pretty sure. I think it's b/c the 17" doesn't fit over the brakes.
