20 inch instead of 19 inch wheels
What is you experience after replacing the 19 inch wheels by 20 inch wheels? Was the ride much worse or didn' t you feel any difference? Greetz BC |

The ride will be rougher as a result of the smaller sidewall/aspect ratio on the tire.

I don't see much of a difference between my 18 inch winter wheels and my 19 inch summer wheels. Maybe because of the optional sportpack? I wander if anyone changed between 19 and 20 and at the same time having the sport pack.

Again, it has nothing to do with rim size and everything to do with sidewall height.

Anytime you go plus sizing (+1 or 2) you will get a rougher ride. However this is a subjective thing and it will affect different people differently. Some think it's fine and others will think they're riding on rails.

the ride will def. suffer. Not much IMO. And i went from 17" to 20". But you will notice it. I have no regrets tho. Love the look!

From 17"-20" you definately feel more of the road, but I believe the main difference is going wider and the increase in stability on the turns.

I went from 18's to staggered 20's.... handling increased - comfort slightly decreased.

I went from stock 17's to 19"s and ride is still comfortable. Nothing beats having Stlyle 87's with 20" rims.

it also differs by where you will be doign your driving. i drive really bad new york city streets so i would consider 18's before 20's any day....
