2004 spare tire

Hi everyone, great site!

I was wondering if anyone knows the spare wheel size for a 2004 x5 (4.4). Mine never came with one and I wanted to try to find one at a wrecker?

Thanks

Thanks!

That's what I thought, I called a wrecker and they said that it's a 19", I found that odd because my truck came with 18".

Thanks for all your help, the search is on.

It doesn't matter if your X came with 17", 18", or 19". The spare will be the standard 17" found on the 3.0i.

My guess is that the style 57 17" could also be used as a spare;
tire size, wheel width/dia are identical to style 130. Offset is a
tad diff., but doubt that would affect short term ride much.

Style 57 maybe easier to find in the junk yards, fwiw...

DKL is right on, though: 17" is what you are after.

One will have a tough time stuffing an 18" or 19" wheel with tire,
into the spare area...

That's why BMW went with 17" spare for most Xs.
