Does ne one have coil overs on there X5

Thinking about getting some coil overs for my 4.6is x5, just seeing how low the truck goes, and how the ride quality is. Pics are greatly appericated too.

I do not have... but have been looking to do KW Variant 3 coilovers....These will give me the look and ride that I want as comapred to a Bilstein Shock and Eiback or H&R spring set up......but......very pricey.........looking at between 2,000 - 2,500.00

I'll post a pic of what this look like shortly..the link here in the forom is not working at the moment..

Yeah ..i agree....you will have individuals say..why would you drop an X5??.....why not buy a wagon??...lol! I think they miss the boat here... I am a mod junky....plus i have always dropped my rides...as I was a vw guy years ago......just looks tough to me!! when you have all these mods...20/21/22" wheels..etc... etc... upgraded brakes..etc.. and then this big ol' gap between fender and tire ..it just does not look right.... for someone that is not into mods I could see why they may say ..Why would you drop it!!...??..as for me slam the X!

That picture up there is with the KW Coilovers on their lowest setting, right? Does anybody have a picture of them on their highest setting. It'd be nice to convince the parents to buy this kit once they see it on a more regular X5 with a decent ride height.

A little low, IMO. I think it would look better with H&R and Bilsteins sport shocks.

I am all for lowering the stock height, but that is too low. It really does look slammed and takes away from the classic look of the X.

Just my $0.02.
