camber to 0??? recommended? 4.8is owner

Gents and ladies, hello. I am on my 3rd set of rear tires (Diamaris) with only 50K on my 4.8is.

The last set was installed and an alignment etc completed by BMW.

Each time I had to replace the rears the CENTER of the rear tire thread has been completely worn. Outside/Inside areas still have lots of thread.

I check my tire pressure ever 2 weeks, like clockwork. I put 32 fronts and 35LBS rear when cold.

It is now time again for set #4 on the rears and I am wanting to know if the camber in the rear has something to do with the abnormal wear on my tires.

please advise?

Thinking of switching to the Yoko Advan ST. this time around and doing an aligment/camber adjustment if so suggested by the smart ones here on the forum.

I drive mainly highway at say 80 mph+ on a regular basis.

Yes.. i have had 0 camber for 4 years now... tires wear quite evenly. THe X still has a bit of understeer. Handling is better overall in my opinion...

Good to know and thanks for the feedback. Did you just change the camber in the rear only? Anything else changed? What about toe in/toe out etc?

I did just take the rear camber to zero. I also do run rear spacers but I don't think that affects much..

toe in/out is factory...
