Nankang SP-5's just came in
I just got a new rear set of Nankang SP-5's in at size 285/45/19 and they are going to go on the X this weekend. They have 420 treadwear, AA traction and A temperature and an agressive tread pattern.
I paid $148/tire . . . I know, I know you get what you pay for. But considering I've been paying $225-250 per tire in the past and they only last 14-15K miles (and that's pushing it) could it be much worse? I don't do any agressive driving, only highway and town so I figured I'd give them a go. Just had alignment checked again and it is spot on, no adjustment needed. I found nothing on this site anywhere about them so I guess I will be the guinnea pig.
