Any Cooper Discoverer M+S users?

Just swung by Discount Tire over the lunch hour and talked with a guy there about a dedicated set of winters for my X. I told him I was leaning toward the Blizzak DM-V1 (only because of the tirerack survey) and he said that he thought that was a great tire. I asked what he would run and he pointed me toward the Discoverer M+S. Since I can't really find any legit reviews for this particular tire (similar to tirerack) I'm wondering if any of you run the Discoverer as a winter tire?

I have the discoverer's but put them on in the spring so can't answer your question just yet. Price difference was huge compared to michelins, but compared to the tread pattern on my old mich's they look pretty good, better siping etc. I guess it'll come down to how soft the compound is in extreme cold. Bottom line, drive to the conditions and don't be one those a-holes that figure because they have awd they are invincible.
