what size wheels can i use...
2001 x5 with staggered 255/50/19 and 285/45/19 looking to get some winter wheels and tires. what sizes can i use? i know i can go 235/65/17 as well as buy winters for what i have already, but what other sizes can i go to if any...any help would be good thanks

Pirelli, etc also make great winter tires. You can now buy the Vredesteins in the 19 staggered set too. Pretty much, whatever you wish, they most likely make it. I would stay with the 18 instead of 17 especially if you buy a HP (high speed) winter tire. When on dry road or highway, they still perform well and don't 'give' as much as the 17s will.
