To answer some questions I recieved, Amsoil is a TRUE full synthetic. Companies such as Mobil, Pennzoil, and especially Castrol (the most deceitful company out there) are not true full synthetics. They use group III base stocks which are just hydrocracked oils. Mobil sued Castrol in the 1990s because Castrols synthetic oil was only a small amount of synthetic base stock and the rest highly refined mineral oil (hydrocracked). Amsoil uses Polyalphaolefins (group IV) base stocks with some group 5, which are the esters, polyesters and diesters, to create a FULL synthetic motor oil that offers the best protection and good value. Amsoil is able to withstand extended drain intervals because of the fact it is a true synthetic oil. Amsoil lubricants are the best on the market because they are true synthetic lubricants and offer the best protection at a great price.

The only brand im "kicking" is Castrol (BP), as they have a touchy history, product isnt terrible but I dont think i would ever recommend it. Mobil, Pennzoil, Valvoline etc are great high quality oils but are not FULLY synthetic as one may assume. Just pointing that out. Also that T bell ad got me into taco bell, i thought the ad was clever lol. Just pointing out that all synthetic oils are not created equal.
