F-series trademark denied
BMW has been denied the use of F trademark in US. Expect use of Y or K or R which they own. Earlier they were denied V.

That was the case when V was denied(Volvo), not sure if its Ford again.

If they go with Y then a BMW fanatic can own XYZ cars.

Of course, 'cause of Ford. Ever heard of a F150, F250, F350, F600, F100 or F6? That's Ford, for well over 50 years. I'm sure Ford was all over that.

R and K are BMW motorcycles, don't know if they'd mix things up with those, but who knows. BMW does use the F on their 1 & 2 cyl motorcycles, but there is probably an exception with trademark in that case.
