Hi!

As can be seen from the pictures, I have no X-something. However, it seems that quite a bit of knowledge is here so I though I'd register. I did make a considerable amount of miles with one of the first X5's though, a 3.0D with M-sport package inside (seats, steering wheel, black rooflining) and out (including those nice staggered 19 inches). Handled pretty damn well for a car as hefty as that.

So on to my car, it's a 335d from 2011. Great drive, KW v3 suspension, rest is standard. I am considering a tune and xHP flash, which I hope would remedy the feeling that it's actually not that quick. I will say though, it IS quick when you look at the speedometer hurling past 200 km/h. It just doesn't feel like it is...

Onto the issue at hand: I do have some transmission problem. It behaves quite well, however I did have a few occasions (after some 'spirited driving' in Manual so presumably with the gearbox nice and warm) where the 4-5 shift was problematic. Only occurred when shifting full (or nearly full) throttle in M and then it just seems like it's in Neutral.. Upon releasing the throttle it then goes into 5th (sometimes not very subtle). Spoke to some guy at ZF and he thought it could be the MAF sensor? Anyway, that will be the first thing I am going to check..
