HELP, just Bought CPO M5, found out was in accident

The Dealer i purchased the car from never told me (even though i asked) the car was in an accident (or at least the rear bumper has been replaced).

I purchased the Car from the Dealer that originally sold the car new and they claimed to have done all of the Maintence. The Car was a CPO'd car also. I bought the about car 100 miles from my house. After washing the car I take it to my local dealer because the bumper is loose and they tell me it is missing some parts and that there is evidence of repainting on the rear bumper!!!!!! The Car is still at the my local dealer.

What should i say to the original dealer who sold me the car????

I have not even owned the car for 30 days!!!!!

I sure did! I took the X back to the dealer, along with the carfax, police report and my attorney .We got there and ask to see the manager I put both reports infront of him and asked for a FULL explanation of why I wasn't told about the accident! He tried to B.S me and my attorney at first. After a little formal talking by my attorney, the manager had a change of heart. Half an hour after our surprise visit the manager made an offer to buy back the X at fair market value.I took it.Be prepared ,bring all your evidence, most importantly catch them by surprise DO NOT CALL THE DEALER BEFORE YOU SHOW UP!.Good luck!

Painting the bumper is hardly an accident, even replacing the bumper is minor at best. Have the car inspected and return it to the dealer for repair.

doesn't mean there was an accident. Anything could have happened, a shopping cart could have scrapped the paint, the owner had the vehicle painted and the shop didn't put all the clips back in, very common.

Oh but if the dealer knew and did not tell you in the little CPO folder, then you can probably return it.

Take it to a body shop and ask them to assess. If panels other than the buber have been repainted, it would indicate a more serious accident.

So you bought a CPO M5 then returned and X5. How do you do that?

Maybe Accident was too strong of a term. I will find out more tomorrow. But the BMW dealer where the Car is now is telling me the bumper shows evidence of repainting and it was missing a piece that holds the bumper in place. He is checking to see if anything else is wrong with it. The car fax comes up clean.
