I never liked the butterfly shaped rear lights and the milk moustache on the front grill (and I am not alone). L-shaped rear lights (like other BMWs) look better. Glad they fixed both.
Notice the single drive. No drive for nav.

As I was saying to Meiac earlier, it looks like they didn't even try. They were too busy "designing" the X6 to give the E90/E91 a proper facelift. Heck, the trunklid and rear signal lights don't even line up.

The iDrive and dash look like a trainwreck. Whatever happened to BMW's vision of a clean and simple dash? And I have a hard time understanding why they put a 280km/h speedometer. At least the wood trim is improved. The light switch has unnecessary bling.

Take a look again at hi-res pics in post #2. There is big improvement from the plain moustache E90 before. Interior also looks good. But you only like E46 as BMW so the buck stops there.

The moustache is a good improvement. But they messed up the centre airdam and put an ugly crease. Aero kit, ASAP!

This may the first facelift that actually made the car look worse.

I should just shut up and go buy an Audi.
