E61 BMW 520d - Satnav OS Upgrade

Hi all,

I am looking to find out how l find out what my current Satnav OS version is. My car is an 06 model and has the proffessional Satnav setup with the full on Dolby sound system (Awsome by the way. Well worth the £770 l paid)

I am updating my satnav DVD to 2007-1 or 2 which ever l can find and then l plan to load the Speed Camera Database. Additionally, the over all POI system is poo and l what to reload as much info (i.e Hotels, POI etc that l can).

I have spent ages reading up on this and l fear my system will remain outdated unless l do something.

I see alot of guru's out there. Please can some one help.
