Maybe to some, but to others that can't afford a new M3 or don't want to spend that much money, the new 135i is going to be a far better bang for the buck performance wise. From being a BMWCCA member I know that there are a ton of people just waiting for this car to come out and any extra performance mods will be icing on the cake. Many people want this over the M3 due to it's smaller size and lower weight. I think BMW is actually hitting the nail on the head by offering these performance parts on the new 1.
