Question ghosts in the machine?? :(

So this is odd.

I just picked up my car today, I was having BMW of SD do some minor stuff under warranty, some of which included upgrading all the car's computers to the latest version: new iDrive, new EGR transmission software, everything.

Also, they did a "retrofit" allowing my angel eyes to be on as daytime running lights. Or at least that was the idea.

#1: new iDrive software works fine. still a bit sluggish, but whatever, at least i can input POI names ow.

#2: angel eye DRLs seems to be a bit of a misnomer: the innermost angel eyes ARE lit, but so is the halogen (?) bulb inside of it. This kinda avoids the cool aesthetic effect i was going for with all four eyes on: I was hoping to have all four eyes on as DRLs like i've seen so many others have. What gives?!

#3: this is really bizarre: since picking up the car, i've immediately noticed that the steering wheel has to be a few degrees to the left of center in order to drive straight. it was DEFINITELY NOT like this before i took it into the shop. How do you explain this?! I just tried to do an Active Steering re-initialization (turn engine on; steering wheel full to left then back to center; turn engine off; turn engine back on) but haven't yet driven it. i will after i write this lol.

Thoughts?

Thanks!
