Looking for a possible trade...

Hey Everyone!

It's been awhile and it feels weird posting in "Other BMW's."

So I'm thinking of trading in my X5 for something else and the 5 series has caught my eye.

The only problem is I don't want to go into this deal with a blind eye as I did the X5. Had I known then what I know now about X's (thanks to this site!) I would have picked a newer model (2004) as well as a 4.4i.

Anyway, I am going to look at an 06 528xi today. Any opinions on that? I thought I would not go any lower than a 535xi but I really need to be educated first before I take the plunge. I thought what better place than
X5 World even for my non X5 question.

I hope someone can help me with any advice or experience you may have with the different trim levels.

Thanks!
Mari

No thanks! I don't want to pay more for gas than I already am.
I put a lot of miles on my car and I need to fill up twice a week.

BMW didn't make a 528i in 2006......

Which models are you looking at? 2004-2007? 2008? 525i? 530i? 528i? 535i?

25 ?

This week I had a 535i for 2 days and it was getting about 20mpg,
The car was nice and it has a nice amount of power too, but the interior didn’t have anything over the X5, I would buy another X5 before the 528 or the 535 since the X5 is more versatile!
