Need help on coding my 2008 made E87 120i

Hi all! I need your help on coding the angle sensor of my 2008 made E87 LCI 120i.

Recently I did a retrofit to add dynamic cruise control and multifunction steering wheel to my 120i by replacing a new steering column switch. Since the angle sensor is integrated in the steering column, so I have to code the angle sensor to make it work. I currently have SSS v32, which is the latest version, and all the tools for coding my car. However, the program work did not complete successfully. It just kept saying 'the coding could not complete successfully' and fault entries in DSC. During the coding work, SSS prompted me to ignition off the car, wait 10 seconds and iginition on the car and continue, I followed the instruction and then the coding failed. I did the coding by choosing 'LWS' in 'Service Function' and I did not connect my car to power supply.

Now my question is:
1. Do I need to choose 'yes' when SSS prompts to ask me if new module is installed and then continue? (I chose 'No', and then chose 'load software')
2. Do I have to connect a power supply?
3. Is there anything I did wrong so that the coding was not successful?

I really need your expert to give me some advice on this! Thanks a lot!
