Anybody have any intel if bmw plans to offer a M version of the new 2 series? Reason I ask, is that I just saw the bmw commercial with the orange 2002 and new 2 series ( which looks sweet btw), and unless I'm mistaken, a ///M 235i badge is on the trunk lid...

I suspect they will offer an M Sport model, instead of a full M. Same as the one series.

These are photoshop renderings of a future vehicle that hasn't been announced or confirmed. Magazines say it may come out in 2015 or 2016.

Specs are about 800 by 1200 pixels

Well aware the image is a rendering, never stated it was a pic. Not aware of any pics of the ///M2.

Latest issue of European Car has a test of the 2015 ///M 235i, the article states the full tilt ///M2 is in the werks!
