Sorry if I didn't make it clear in my original post -- I'm already on the hook and have placed a non-refundable deposit on an order that will hit the system tomorrow.
I'm very sad to be departing with my current beloved (an Audi RS4), very bemused to find myself lacking transportation for at least a month (might need to pump up my bike tires, but getting kids to school could be a problem...maybe I'll rent a car from Enterprise), and psyched to get a new X5M!
Thanks for the info; I'm hoping it only takes a month for me, too, although I fear their plant holiday shut-downs may cause my order to get pushed considerably into the future.
