Just PWNED a Challenger SRT-8

Outside (of 2) turn lanes going down the on ramp.

Rolled up next to an Orange SRT-8.

Two people in the SRT. Me in the ///

Two words - Buh Bye.

Not very close through 4th.

The guy is still thinking 'what the heck was that'?

Just had to share that

Did you enjoy a nice little evil laugh after that one? I know I would have!

Love putting those American 'hot rods' to shame at their own game! If I ever get a X5M, I think the first thing I would do is de-badge it. Or maybe just leave the X5 emblem on it!

I always laugh when people get a 328i and slap on a M3 emblem or get a 535i and slap on a M5 emblem on it. I've always wanted to do the opposite! BLOW past them at the light and leave them wondering what the heck that was...

Or just for kicks, stick on a X5 3.0 emblem on the side. They won't even mess with ANY X5 after that shock...

Those Challengers are poo-poo, low 13 second car Be a lot quicker if it didn't way 4000lbs. In manual it has near identical 0-60 numbers, but auto..nearly 5 seconds.

Yes, actually I did.

All in good fun - they are quick, but the /// is just a bit quicker.

Yeah, the challengers are the worst of the big three's retro cars, at least as far as any and all performance testing/comparisons... And the X5M/// is at least half a second quicker in 1/4 mile.

Come January we are getting one of the new Fo1/Fo2 760i/il at the dealer... 600hp twin turbo V12!!!! Taking the throne as the fastest production BMW to date!

Edmunds had some trouble launching their test car - manual 5.5/13.8 sec:
Performance Tested: 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8

Yeah, IMO, looks great but really underpowered for that weight.
