Road Hazard?

Is Road Hazard Insurance a good idea for X5's in general and M's in particular?
I think it runs about $850 for 3 years and $1250 for 5.
In my current low profile tired car it would have paid for itself in the first 9 months.

I added it to my purchase and was able to negotiate a lower price for the 3 year coverage. No brainer for me. Just make sure you read the "fine" print on what is does and does not cover.

I got mine for $500 - 3 years. Probably could live without it, but I'm going to run full size winter Pirelli's on stock wheels in the winter.

Has come in handy for me a couple of times - but it is not bullet proof. For me they have co-paid replacements for a couple of punctured tires and refused any cover on a cracked windshield, which was covered fully by normal insurance only if I went with a 3rd party repair shop ... which I then did. However that is still a considerable amount they have covered so I am glad I have it for 4 years.
