I have come to the conclusion that on the web, there are a lot of typos and incomplete thoughts. It is the nature of the beast.

I think it is because so many try to type fast (to be the first) and get their fingers tangled up; or maybe it is just because almost the whole world is on the web and therefore you get a large spectrum of English speaking and/or writing skills.

Personally, I am amazed at how many times I transpose letters or skip over one or two letters because I didn't hit a key quite hard enough.

I think also that you are more likely to type in stream-of-though mode on the web rather than sitting down to compose a well structured letter. I constantly edit my posts because they are not always quite what I meant to say - or should have said.

No matter the cause. As long as I can make out what someone is trying to say, I can ignore the bad spelling, and bad grammar.

Look at your own post. Why did you capitalize both letters in the first word?

As Viperfreak pointed out: This particular case of "bad grammar" is caused by an auto-translator program. The original article was probably written in German or French. And was then fed through a translator app (of which there are several), which resulted in the strange wording you saw above.

I'm German, so please overlook my grammar mistakes.

Regarding the accident: it wasn't the fault of the X5 M and it probably wasn't driver's fault either. The accident happened at a speed below 30 kph, the X5 M had the BMW recommended/approved winter wheel set with winter tires.
Surface was very slippery. Passengers weren't harmed at all, NOTHING.
It happened in Europe, X5 M was pretty new.

I know the details because I know the driver but I think he needs to sort things out with insurance first before he posts any details on the web. As far as I heard, insurance is going to pay for it.
