Over on ZPost a guy used dental floss and I believe he used some GooOff to remove the residual rubbery glue. Put some wax on it right afterwords.
I tried to find the original post but it didn't turn up right away. |

Check the detailing forum. Phil has done it several times.

Excellent link. Thanks. I needed some tips for my leather care, and there's plenty of other good references in that forum section I need to look at. Phil debadged the car, but from my reading of the thread didn't say how he did it, but I may have overlooked it. bibendum can do a search in the forum.

Summer is the best time to do this...if it's not warm enough where you are, a hair dryer helps to soften up, then slide either floss or the plastic strips used to tie boxes, behind the badges...works like a charm.
Oh and post pics

I used floss and a little GooOff. Then waxed. Because the car is so new, it comes off very easy. I think it looks grea without the badges.

My favorite fishing line and then some bug and tar remover from Meguires -as smooth as a baby's bottom!
Cheers,

Badgeless means less to wax around. With the exception of the ///M vehicles I've had over the years, I've always removed every badge from all my cars. True M cars are the ones I WANT people know that it's the real deal and the whoopin they could receive
