X5 LeMans ties the M3 CSL for fastest BMW ring time.

I have a gut feeling the 1M will supplant both! Curious to see how the F10 & 12 ///M's will stack...

- 7:50 BMW M3 CSL
- 7:50 BMW X5 E53 LM
- 8:05 BMW M3 E92
- 8:07 BMW Z8 E52 (also listed at a more believable 8:18)
- 8:09 BMW M6 E63

I vote for the LeMans. 150hp advantage, gearbox advantage, possible suspension advantage, weight advantage, braking advantage...

The thing is set up for track duty.

Not sure whether the OP is asking 0-60 drag or Nurburgring lap times.
X5 M will take the 0-60 drag, but not the 'ring lap.

1M is supposed to have modified N55 with ~350 hp. We shall see, how the pocket rocket does.

Correction...the M3 GTS recently posted a 7:48 ring time, making it the current BMW lord of the ring by 2 seconds.

You may be right, but I would still have to see it to believe it. I don't see how it would have an advantage after the quarter mile or further.

I had the opportunity to check out the V12 LMR(where the engine for E53 X5 V12 LeMans originated) up-close, once again recently at a BMW ///M-power event.
