Estoril vs. Monte Carlo

Sorry, cold as hell out, I was shivering. Still, gives you an idea of the difference. To be honest, if they weren't next to each other, you'd swear it was the same color.

pretty cool. they are very similar..i think i actually like the estoril more.. it has a more edgy racing look to it. Whereas the monte carlo looks a bit more refined IMO

As cool as the LeMans Blue was on the 4.8is, i still think the Estoril was 10x better

+1 on all of it, though I'm telling you, even when they are 10 feet apart, you can't tell the difference.

I'm sure that over 7-8 years the Estoril has faded a bit. Was there any difference in the metallic content? I'm always suprised to see how much larger the newer X5s are!

well i'm not sure how much it would actually fade. just a bit.. the color compound of the Monte Carlo is definitely darker..I think BMW was trying to make it more refined

i really like how the new X5 still has so many of the same design features as the old. the lines really do match up pretty well

My truck has been garage-kept most of its life, so I don't think there's much fading going on. Metallic content was similar as well. If the cars were 10 feet apart, you'd be hard-pressed to tell the difference.

i'd like to move from my estoril 4.6is to a monte carlo x5M in a couple years time. Hoping the x5Ms will come down to the 30k range by then. I love the color everytime i look at my truck i fall in love.
