Thanks for all the advice. You guys are awesome. The American Express Auto Buying website was my ace in the hole. I called up the dealership that I've dealing with, got the salesman, and said let's talk price. He launched into his spiel that they only sell X5 Ms at MSRP and that they are hot items, blah, blah, blah. I let him have it. I said that I had three firm quotes from three different dealerships at $1000 over invoice price. I had the quotes in writing. I asked him why I would spend $6,475 more than what I could get from three other dealers, who were ready to sell the car to me right now at that price. I sent him a PDF of the quotes and he went off to his sales manager. I got a call a couple hours later. They matched the price from American Express's site, . . . and they are throwing in the ClearBra, window tint for driver's side and passenger's side windows, and the towing package.

I owe you guys big time!

Thanks!

Terrific. You will love it. Just make sure you are very clear with the ClearBra. Search within the forum for what it needs to cover. I personally have the entire front. Bumper all the way to the windshield including front fenders. Then sills and rear fenders.

The 3M works so well. I clipped my garage door the other day with the rear wheel arch (covered in 3m). Broke the garage door molding. No scratch on the car. Left a little paint on the 3M that buffed out.

What year was your S4?

I have a stage 2+ 2001.5 B5 S4 as my daily and the M as my garage queen.

Love my S4...It will be with me until it dies!

Shoot, I don't even remember. I had (2) with the V6 TT and one of the V8. Both great cars. Understeered like a pig. Put r compound tires on the V8 and took it to the track for giggles. Chewed up the tires in one day. I saw one of the new S4 and think is one of the best looking cars around. Just a great look. they just need to stuff about 200 more hp under the hood and lose about 500lbs.

Got the car yesterday. Drove home today. I am in awe of this car. I was passing some semis in a passing lane about thirty miles out of Salt Lake City, Utah. I pushed the accelerator, not too much. I easily passed the semis with no problem. A glance at the head's up display and I had hit 103 mph. Uh yeah! Man this thing feels rock solid. I could spend some time relaying my driving experience today putting 500 miles on the car, but you all know what the score is with this beast. I love it. Those rear tires are so wide, it looks like a drag racer (kind of). Everything worked as it should. I got 19.9 mpg on the way home. I love the growl the engine makes, especially when hitting that M button.

I will post some photos soon. Gotta sleep.

Thanks again,

Awesome. congrats.

Do not to get used to anything over 15mpg. Not to burst the bubble but trying to set the expectation. My mom has a Prius. This thing almost offenders her. I told her the seats are made from baby seal. After I drive it, I just I don't care.

Enjoy
