Looking at X5 Ms today...

Not gonna buy a new one but am looking at 11's

Is BMW Apps available on the 11's? Retrofit?

What are the must have options?

Thanks all

Good Luck with your hunt and purchase. Recently ordered one...waiting for it to show up at the dealer. "Must have" options I guess are very subjective: for me they were:

1.Spare: I plan to ditch the RFTs the first time I need to change out the tires...
2. Comfort Keyless entry: used to it with my present cars..did not want to do otherwise
3. Premium sound: dont know how true:but heard not so good things about the standard audio system. Also there is Siruis for 1yr included.
4. Driver assistance: heads up display is waaaaay toooo coooool to pass up
5.BMW apps: if u use iPhone, ianything

I did not choose rear entertainment: have more than one child. Like the dealer told me: for the price of the single rear entertainment system could get 3 iPads....
Did not choose the 6CD changer as its all digital music these days...

Hope this helps. Again good luck with your search

The only must have option are comfort seats, they will transform the driving experience, the rest are crap IMO.

Agreed. I love comfort seats. Visually and comfort wise (although I don't own an M)

I ordered every option and the only ones I would not order next time around are the Rear Entertainment and maybe the CD Changer.
Stlcity has it pretty much down pat.

If you have kids soft close doors are a must. If not they are still damn nice.

I'll chime in and give my 2 cents.

I ordered all the options except rear seat entertainment, rear climate and that iphone connector thing.

I would do it the same way if I were to get another one. But, I agree the CD changer is pretty useless. There's a single CD player in the dash, as well as the hard drive and the ipod connection. But I think it came in a package, so I didn't have a choice at the time.

Yes, yes, yes on comfort seats and soft close doors. It is so convenient to just be able to lightly close the door and walk away. Or if your hands are full and your door doesn't close all the way, no worries with this option.

For some reason it is showing Carbon Black instead of Space Gray, but...

Congrats.,..Mine is Space Gray too. It just got to the dealer today. went to take a look at it. Love the color. I am glad that I went with it rather than black (was debating between the two). Black interior with aluminium trim. The truck looks awesome to me . Will post pictures once I get my hands on it...

Just curious: on the track page why is there the "en route to US" option? Thought all of them were made here in SC?
