Carbon Trim Retrofit?

Anyone have an idea what it cost to buy the carbon interior trim? My car came optioned with the aluminum trim and I am trying to decide if it is worth swapping it out.

Thanks!

Get it wrapped in real carbon fibre, it would cost around the same

Does this stuff look good? Feel kind of weird about putting vinyl wrap on a car this nice. I don't want it to look or feel cheap.

Its different than OEM, as BMW uses CF leather. Don't think it looks cheap. You can buy a sample and wrap something else for test. Use this to stick

Thanks.

If I end up going the vinyl/cloth route I will have a professional shop do it.

Anyone know any shops in the tri-state area who do this kind of work?

The 3M DiNoc (available HERE) has a very similar finish to the factory BMW material if you choose to wrap the trim. If you'd like to go the genuine BMW route I can have one of my parts guys pull the part numbers for you.

Thanks for the help.

I assume when you wrap the interior pieces you have to remove them? How hard is it to get all 9 pieces out?

Yes, I'd remove the trim to make it easier to wrap.

This is going solely of diagrams of the parts in each area. It appears the molding on the doors is held in my screws on the back side, so removal of the door panel would be required (not hard just a little time consuming). The center console piece looks like it pretty much snaps out. Glove box trim, can't tell much it appears to be held on with screws from the back side as well.
