Tell me how to unleash the full potential....

Guys, have had the truck for a few months now. Dinaned it...Problem is that dont know how to tax the engine LOL..

My drive to work involves a lot of highway driving. Well, light tap on the gas pedal and I am 90mph: in the "reckless driving" range.

So what do u guys do to get the truck to do what it is meant to do?

My CA told me that after I flashed it, the upper speed limit was unlocked to over 160mph?? Not sure if I will ever see it there LOL unless I guess I take it to a track somewhere....

Track it. Why not. Only way you can really pound it without issues

This is a funny question because I really had the same issue. The truck was just so damn fast. My 75yo mom was driving it (with me in the back seat). I asked her if she knew that she was doing 80 in a 45. She almost passed out.

You will find places to really get on it. I have 2 places on the way to work each morning where I know that I can get on it.

Thumbs up

Go to the 1/4mi drag strip and see what times and mph you're running. That would be a first safe step to see how quick your car is.

Take it to the track. It's the only safe place to really open up a vehicle up. Plus it's always amusing to see an X5 hot lapping at the track!

Better yet. Passing M3s down the back straight into turn 5 at Road America

I took 5 laps around RA. I made up the part about passing an M3. No idea if it would or not but it seemed funny. After 5 laps everything seemed fine. Brakes were a little toasty.
