I read my copy of C/D today...good for the X I guess, even at $100Gs.

The Pepper turbo may be one of the marketing dept's whiteboard/gross margin winner of the year: $109G base price, $150G sticker, including $9Gs worth of brake upgrades, $1100 'door sills', a $4G stereo and a $350 painted key fob...
Where do I get in line to buy the $100G and especially the $150G suv?

the pricing seems excessive. I guess their marketing department figured that the owners will pay for those things no matter the cost.

2012 or 2013 headlights? I asked my dealer about installing 2013 headlights on my 12' X5M and was told that it would be cost prohibitive to do it...also if I remember right the headlight itself costs 1900$/piece.

LeMans posted that BMW is supposed to release a retrofit LED headlight kit for the X5Ms that dont have it...hopefully it wont cost a fortune. I'm excited...cant wait

on that note: I have the color of the new calipers(blue). Might get mine painted this week. The custom installer is making the "M" decal to go on the calipers. Will post pictures once it is done.

Pics? What is the blue color code?
You can buy the ///M caliper decal from ebay too

Just re-read the article - the X5M is on my wish list. I'm at 68k on my 06 4.8is - too soon to flip but it's no longer as new and crisp as it was just 10k miles ago. Have to investigate the exhaust options, from what it sounds like the 4 pot exhaust sound doesn't seem too interesting. Sound is an important factor for me, part of the overall experience.
